'Dorothy' Telugu version falters; screen crunch adds to trouble
'Dorothy', directed by Karthik Subbaraj, released in Tamil on October 2 and drew praise with moderate reception. Daggubati Rana took responsibility for the Telugu dubbed version and brought it to theatres within a week's gap. A review says the storyline, moving from friendship to same-sex attraction, and the treatment failed to win over general audiences. New releases made screen allocation difficult, with only one or two shows in some centres. Keerthy Suresh's character is not present throughout the film.
