Doctors' body moves CJI over alleged assault on Telangana doctor
The United Doctors' Front (UDF) has submitted a letter petition to the Chief Justice of India over the alleged assault on a woman doctor and other healthcare workers on duty at Bhoodan Pochampally Primary Health Centre, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, on October 1, 2026. It sought uniform minimum safety standards at PHCs, CHCs, district hospitals and medical colleges, panic buttons and 24x7 emergency response systems. UDF said a case was registered and the accused taken into custody.
