Hitachi High-Tech opens analytical innovation centre in Thane
Hitachi High-Tech has opened a new Advanced-Technology Innovation Center in the Mumbai region, operated by Hitachi High-Tech India, which began operations on October 1. The laboratory serves biopharmaceutical, environmental testing, materials and chemical industries, with spectrophotometers, liquid chromatographs, thermal analysers, amino acid analysers and potentiometric titrators. Located in the MIDC area of Thane, about a 60-minute drive from Mumbai airport, it lets customers test their own samples. It is the company's second Indian site after its 2025 semiconductor centre in Bengaluru.
