Lord Ranger wins right to judicial review of CBE annulment

British Indian Tory peer Lord Rami Ranger, also known as Raminder Singh Ranger, has won the right to a judicial review of the decision to strip him of his CBE after he was accused of breaching the parliamentary code of conduct. King Charles annulled the honour on Oct 15, 2024, on then PM Keir Starmer's recommendation, following advice from the honours forfeiture committee. Justice Nathalie Lieven ruled on Tuesday that such decisions are justiciable.
