26 Nellore government schools to be developed with ₹250 crore CSR funds
Andhra Pradesh Minister Ponguru Narayana on Tuesday laid the foundation stone for revamping VRC Grounds in central Nellore, where an open gym, walking track, swimming pool, shelters, restrooms and a modernised basketball court will come up. In Nellore city constituency, three government schools have been modernised and 15 are being developed with ₹217 crore in CSR funds, while eight schools in Nellore Rural are being upgraded with ₹33 crore. His daughter Ponguru Sharani said he has taken responsibility for 50,000 students in 26 government schools.
