Mallannasagar land losers write to CM over pending compensation
Landowners who lost land for the Mallannasagar project in Telangana's Siddipet district say they are yet to receive compensation and have written to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha seeking early disposal of cases pending in the High Court. They said no compensation had come in the nearly 34 months since the government was formed. A letter was sent to the CM Office on December 3, 2025, and the collector was informed, but the issue remains unresolved. They demanded land-for-land or adequate compensation and said their peaceful Gandhian struggle would continue.
