Bengaluru engineer builds AI app to report road potholes
Software engineer Gaurav Sen, 33, has built an app called Pothole Reporter to detect and report potholes in Bengaluru. Built in a day using OpenAI's Codex and vision models, the app photographs roads, identifies the responsible municipal body and the likely tender number, and emails the complaint to the commissioner. The Android beta launched on September 21 with about 200 testers. Since August, 100 complaints have been recorded.
