Srisailam temple outsourced staff paid below contract wages
Outsourced sanitation and housekeeping staff at the Srisailam devasthanam are being paid less than contracted wages, with allegations that an agency pocketed Rs 90 lakh in a year. The agency, selected under the central tender system, signed a contract from October 1 last year to 30.09.2027. Terms require Rs 12,253 a month for staff, Rs 17,795 for maestries, Rs 22,154 for supervisors, plus EPF and ESI. Workers received Rs 10,400, now Rs 11,000. Sanitation has 237 staff, housekeeping 276.
