National conclave on tribal rights held in New Delhi
The Ministry of Tribal Affairs organised a two-day National Conclave on Constitutional Rights and Legal Provisions for Tribal Communities at the Scope Complex in New Delhi from 6 October 2026. Union Minister Jual Oram inaugurated it. More than 75 delegates from about 30 States and Union Territories, including tribal welfare and revenue department officers and experts, took part. Minister of State Durgadas Uikey joined via video conferencing. Discussions covered digitisation of records, online tracking and inter-state verification mechanisms.
