13 Navy personnel under scanner in Pakistan-linked espionage probe
Andhra Pradesh's counter-intelligence wing has launched 'Operation Firewall-2026' against a suspected Pakistan-linked espionage network, with 18 people under the scanner, including 13 suspected Navy personnel. Twelve teams searched 10 states and union territories, including Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Maharashtra and Karnataka. In Visakhapatnam, Navy contract driver Annam Sai Varaprasad was arrested, while sailor Pradeep Mukherjee, 31, was held in Coimbatore. Both were remanded in judicial custody till October 14.
